So I went to the midnight showing of New Moon and I can say that it was not disappointing, unlike Twilight.

The "months" scene was perfectly done and I think that Bella's "zombie" stage was really captured. The acting was better for some actors and Taylor Lautner actually surprised me with how good he did. I still don't get the screaming when he takes his shirt off. To me, it's just...ew.

The wolves were amazing. And the fight between Jake and Paul was amazing. I loved when Bella jumped off the cliff and how Victoria was incorporated into that. She seriously creeped me out.

The dog jokes! Oh god. Those were great. I actually said, out loud, after Bella asked Alice if she was coming back and Alice said, "After you put the dog out.", "You want some ice for that burn Jacob?!" And the entire theater heard me and started cracking up.

Italy! I loved the entire Volterra part. Aro, though, was a freakin' creeper. He was creepin' on everyone! I LOVEDLOVEDLOVED the little fight scene between Edward and Felix. Kick ass! It was so perfect.

The ending was love. From Jacob and Edward almost fighting and then Bella telling Jake that "It'll always be Edward." And then the EPIC ending. "Marry me." SO PERFECT! Everyone was like, "WTF!" But I thought it was perfect and left you wanting more, in a really, really good way.

All in all, it was amazing. Besides a couple of personal favorite quotes from the book, there wasn't anything that I missed in the movie that was in the book. It was one of the better book adaptations I have ever seen. I'm going to see it again, tomorrow.
